American Mac and Cheese
Made With MARIGOLD
KING OF KINGS Full Cream Evaporated Milk
Ingredients
500g dry macaroni or any preferred small cut pasta, cooked and drained
2 tbsp corn starch
1 tsp salt
1/2 dry mustard
1/4 black pepper
1 can MARIGOLD KING OF KINGS Full Cream Evaporated Milk
1 cup water
28g butter
470g shredded cheddar cheese, divided into 2 portions
Method

Preheat oven to 190°C.

In a pan, heat MARIGOLD Evaporated Milk, water and butter over medium heat, stirring constantly until it comes to a simmer.

Add corn starch, salt, dry mustard and black pepper and let it boil it for 1 minute.

Remove pan from the heat. Add cheese and stir until cheese has melted.

Add cooked macaroni and mix well.

Transfer the mixture from the pan into an oven-safe dish.

Sprinkle topping with remaining cheese.

Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until cheese is melted or golden brown.
