Corn Dogs

DAWN Sweetened Beverage Creamer
Ingredients
8 hot dogs
8 bamboo skewers or chopsticks
Batter
140g all-purpose flour
25g cornmeal flour
40ml MARIGOLD DAWN Sweetened Beverage Creamer
60g grated parmesan, sharp cheddar
1 large egg
120ml water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
200g bread crumbs or panko
Method

Pat dry hot dogs and skewer them lengthwise through the chopstick.

In a mixing bowl, combine all the batter for ingredients and mix well until it reaches a thick, creamy consistency. Transfer batter into a tall glass.

Prepare bread crumbs by placing it on a shallow dish.

Dip the hot dog skewer into the batter-filled glass. Then dip the coated hot dog into bread crumbs and coat it well using hand to pack down the crumbs. Repeat until all corn dogs are coated.

If are you using an air-fryer, brush the corn dogs with some oil, then pop into the air-fryer at 190°C for 15 - 18 minutes. Or pan-fry corn dogs with oil until grow golden brown. Drain and let cool before serving.
